Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness
• Manage cashiering activities and cash handling practices
• Maintain store displays and signage for promotional effectiveness
• Manage seasonal areas and ensure merchandise replenishment
• Assist with scheduling and expense control
• Maintain checkout area and store supplies for impulse sales

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
