Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep the store, stockroom, and sales floor organized and up to standard, including recovery tasks.
• Provide supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following company policies.
• Help ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to adhere to cash handling guidelines.
• Maintain attractive store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Oversee seasonal areas and ensure proper signage.
• Assist with merchandise management and store supplies control.
• Help maximize impulse sales at checkout and ensure stock levels are maintained daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
