Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and maintenance of the stockroom and sales floor.
• Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Overseeing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Managing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
• Handling damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling, supplies management, and expense control.
• Maintaining checkout area to maximize impulse sales and refilling store-front displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
