Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Help ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
11. Assist in managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Support promotional displays and seasonal areas.
13. Coordinate signage in the store.
14. Manage store supplies and control expenses.
15. Maintain checkout area to maximize sales.
16. Refill coolers and displays daily (e.g., balloons, sunglasses, batteries).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
