Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assisting with hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Helping protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing all corporate directives and store communications.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including damaged goods.
• Supporting staffing coverage, sales floor effectiveness, cashiering activities, merchandising, and store supplies management.
• Ensuring proper signage and store displays to maximize sales.
• Creating weekly schedules with the Store Manager.
• Managing store supplies and controlling expenses.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
