Responsibilities

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling practices are followed.
• Coordinate store signage and manage seasonal display effectiveness.
• Handle damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
• Maintain checkout area and ensure replenishment of coolers and displays.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
