Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting company assets, including cash, and adhering to safety policies.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
• Supporting staffing, sales effectiveness, and cash handling practices.
• Managing store displays, signage, and seasonal areas.
• Creating weekly schedules and managing supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area to maximize sales and refilling store displays daily.

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
