Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  • Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
  • Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
  • Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  • Ensuring store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
  • Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
  • Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
  • Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise and damaged goods.
  • Assisting with staff scheduling, store supplies, and expense control.
  • Supporting merchandising and store displays to maximize sales.

Minimum requirements:

  • Preferably prior retail and management experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
