Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and stockroom organization.
7. Supervising hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
8. Processing directives related to store activities, merchandise receipt, and returns.
9. Assisting with staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
10. Managing cashiering activities and ensuring cash handling practices are followed.
11. Overseeing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
12. Coordinating signage and maintaining the checkout area for impulse sales.
13. Handling damaged merchandise daily.
14. Assisting with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
15. Refilling coolers and display racks daily.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
