Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate store signage, merchandising, and displays to maximize sales.
• Manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area and store-front program racks/displays.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
