Responsibilities

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
• Direct supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Process all corporate directives and related store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities in accordance with company cash handling practices.
• Manage store displays, signage, and seasonal areas for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist with store supplies management and expense control.
• Maintain merchandising and checkout areas to maximize impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
