Responsibilities include assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, with a focus on front-end and sales floor operations. Also, assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee all hourly associates
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, including damaged goods
• Help ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices
• Coordinate signage and displays for promotional effectiveness
• Assist with scheduling, supplies, and expense control
• Maintain merchandising, checkout area, and stock levels

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
