Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  • Helping with hiring, training, and development of store staff.
  • Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Protecting store assets, including cash, and adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
  • Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  • Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
  • Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates when the Store Manager is absent.
  • Processing directives related to store activities and merchandise receipt and return.
  • Assisting with staff scheduling, store supplies, expense control, and merchandising.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Prior retail and management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
