Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
4. Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
7. When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
11. Maintain sales effectiveness on the sales floor and seasonal areas.
12. Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling practices are followed.
13. Coordinate signage and store displays for promotional effectiveness.
14. Manage store supplies and control expenses.
15. Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout area to maximize sales.
16. Ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
