Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
11. Maintain sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities following cash handling practices.
12. Manage store displays, signage, and seasonal areas for promotional effectiveness.
13. Handle damaged merchandise daily.
14. Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
15. Maintain the checkout area and ensure store displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
