Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not on the premises, assume direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Associates.
8. Process all SSC Corporate directives and related store communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
11. Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
12. Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
13. Oversee promotional displays and seasonal areas to maximize sales.
14. Coordinate signage used in the store.
15. Process damaged merchandise daily.
16. Assist with weekly scheduling.
17. Manage store supplies and control expenses.
18. Maintain the checkout area to maximize impulse sales.
19. Ensure coolers and displays are refilled daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
