Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Ensuring all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
• Providing direct supervision of hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities, cash handling practices, and store displays.
• Coordinating signage and managing seasonal store areas.
• Handling damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.
• Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
