Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring all areas of the store meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, supervising all hourly associates.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise, including damaged goods.
• Assisting with staffing, scheduling, and managing cash handling practices.
• Supporting promotional displays and seasonal sales areas.
• Maintaining signage and store displays.
• Managing store supplies and controlling expenses.
• Assisting with merchandising and maintaining the checkout area to maximize sales.
• Refilling coolers and store-front displays daily.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
