Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
• Manage seasonal areas and merchandise presentation.
• Assist with weekly schedule creation and store supplies management.
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales.
• Ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
