Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Support sales effectiveness and manage cashiering activities following cash handling guidelines.
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage in the store.
• Handle damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain checkout area and maximize impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
