Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assisting in hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery efforts.
• Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Enhancing promotional effectiveness through store fixtures and displays.
• Managing seasonal areas and signage.
• Processing damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
