Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting company assets, including cash, and adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
7. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
8. Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, ensuring policies are followed.
10. Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
11. Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Overseeing store displays, seasonal areas, signage, and impulse sales areas.
13. Assisting with weekly scheduling, supplies, expense control, and merchandising.
14. Maintaining coolers and displays with replenishments.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
