Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, up to company standards, including recovery.
• If the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Assist in managing cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Support promotional displays and seasonal areas to maximize sales.
• Coordinate signage and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area merchandising for impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including promotional items.
• Assist with weekly schedule creation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
