Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receiving and returning DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and ensure merchandise replenishment, including coolers and program racks.
• Assist with creating weekly schedules and managing supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
