Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring all store areas meet company standards, including recovery efforts.
• Providing direct supervision of hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives related to store activities, merchandise receipt, and return.
• Assisting with staffing coverage, sales floor management, cashiering, merchandising, and store supplies management.
• Managing promotional displays, seasonal areas, signage, and daily merchandise replenishment.
• Supporting creation of weekly schedules and expense control.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
