Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  • Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
  • Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
  • Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  • Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
  • Supervising hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
  • Processing corporate directives and store communications.
  • Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following company policies.
  • Ensuring proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
  • Managing cashiering and cash handling practices.
  • Maintaining promotional displays and signage.
  • Handling damaged merchandise and assisting with weekly scheduling.
  • Controlling store supplies and expenses.
  • Maximizing impulse sales through merchandising and checkout area management.
  • Refilling coolers and display racks daily.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preferred prior retail and management experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a high-energy team environment.
