Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Overseeing promotional displays, seasonal areas, and signage.
• Processing damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize impulse sales.
• Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Preferably prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
