Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including recovery of the stockroom and sales floor
• When the Store Manager is not present, have direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates
• Process all corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness on the sales floor
• Manage cashiering activities to ensure compliance with cash handling practices
• Coordinate signage and manage seasonal displays and fixtures for promotional effectiveness
• Manage store supplies, expenses, and merchandising to maximize sales
• Assist with scheduling and daily store operations
• Ensure replenishment of coolers and front displays with promotional items

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
