Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities following cash handling practices.
• Coordinate signage and manage seasonal displays.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain merchandising, especially in checkout areas, to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
