Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, supervise hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and seasonal areas.
• Manage cashiering activities ensuring cash handling practices are followed.
• Coordinate signage and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily.
• Assist with creating weekly schedules.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
