Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, oversee all hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and store communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
11. Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
12. Coordinate signage and promotional displays in the store.
13. Manage seasonal merchandise areas and store supplies.
14. Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout area to maximize impulse sales.
15. Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.
16. Assist with creating weekly schedules.
17. Control store expenses and supplies.
18. Process damaged merchandise daily.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
