Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
9. Assist with merchandise receipt, return, and damaged goods processing.
10. Help ensure proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness.
11. Manage cashiering activities in line with cash handling guidelines.
12. Coordinate signage and promotional displays.
13. Assist with scheduling and expense control.
14. Maintain merchandising and display areas to maximize sales.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
