Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  • Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
  • Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers and staff.
  • Ensure all store areas meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
  • Supervise hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
  • Process directives related to store activities, including merchandise receipt and return, following company policies.
  • Assist with staffing, merchandising, and managing sales effectiveness.
  • Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling practices are followed.
  • Coordinate signage and promotional displays.
  • Assist with weekly scheduling and expense control.
  • Refill store displays and manage seasonal areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior retail and management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
