Responsibilities

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and communicate store activities as delegated.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate store signage, displays, and seasonal areas.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain checkout area and merchandise displays to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
