Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store standards, including recovery and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling guidelines.
• Managing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
• Processing damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling, supplies management, and expense control.
• Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.
• Refilling coolers and storefront displays daily (e.g., balloons, sunglasses, batteries).

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
