Duties
- Represents the Fisher House organization at community and other events. Completes basic administrative duties as needed by the Operations Assistant or Assistant Business Manager.
- Processes purchasing documents to order and receive supplies. Conducts surveillance of the facility and reports any unusual findings to the supervisor.
- Provides tours of the Fisher House to small groups and conducts presentations regarding the Fisher House mission when needed. May assist in organizing events, marketing flyers, and other promotional materials.
- Listens and responds to residents' queries and requests. Ensures an adequate stock of cleaning supplies, keeps cleaning equipment in good working order, and maintains a clean storage area for equipment and supplies.
- Cleans recreation equipment, supplies, and facility areas. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment. Prepares work orders for maintenance tasks that cannot be completed through self-help.
Requirements

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays for special events (if required by management).
- A successful background investigation submission to the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) must be completed within 30 calendar days after entry on duty or placement in the position for internal candidates.
- Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability determination.
Qualifications
Must have experience working with the general public.
Highly Desirable:
- At least six (6) months of experience providing customer service to facility/operational patrons, including answering questions (telephonically, in person, or via email), and conducting basic clerical work (filing, printing, etc.).
- At least six (6) months of experience with housekeeping or custodial duties.
