Patient's Choice Laboratories is seeking a dedicated and professional Operations Assistant to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will serve as the critical face (and voice) of our company-supporting patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff daily.

Be the Voice of the Company: Act as the primary point of contact for incoming patient and provider inquiries, managing inbound calls.
Provide Solutions: Assist callers with laboratory-related questions, order statuses, specimen requirements, and general account support.
Master the Tech: Navigate multiple software platforms and databases simultaneously to research and resolve customer concerns.
Keep Precise Records: Accurately document all interactions and maintain detailed records within company systems.
Collaborate & Escalate: Communicate effectively across internal departments and elevate complex issues to management when necessary.
Stay Compliant: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations (HIPAA) and company policies.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in biomedical science preferred
Customer Service: Customer service experience (call center experience is a major plus)
Industry Familiarity: At least 1 year of experience using medical terminology; previous laboratory, healthcare, or medical office experience is highly preferred.
Tech & Typing Skills: Strong computer proficiency with the ability to type at least 40 WPM while actively speaking with a caller.
Core Strengths: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex medical/laboratory information quickly.
