Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL in Lewisville, AR is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure accurate handling of receiving and shipping documents and to support inventory control.

You will work with warehouse staff to maintain RF handheld terminals, perform timely data entry, and prepare picking and shipping documents in accordance with procedures.

This onsite role provides exposure to end-to-end logistics operations and offers opportunities to contribute to efficient warehouse workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
• 6 months warehousing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Distribute timely and accurate receiving/shipping information to staff.
• Maintain and charge hand-held terminals for RF operations.
• Complete data entry for receiving to support picking documentation.
• Prepare and sort picking documentation per SOP.
• Prepare shipping documents and update packing lists for out-loading changes.
• Update stock records to reflect current inventory.
• Dispatch shipments to carriers or drop lots.

Job description

Role Purpose

Responsible for ensuring that shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time. Works with warehouse personnel to ensure proper receipt, stocking and shipment of product. Assist with inventory control.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure the distribution of timely and accurate information and receiving forms to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure the hand-held terminals are maintained and fully charged, ready to update and download in a timely manner (RF environment).
• Ensure that all receiving data entry is completed on time to allow picking documentation to be prepared.
• Prepare and sort all picking documentation as per the operating procedure.
• Prepare all shipping documents and ensure that changes made at out-loading are accurately indicated on drivers’ packing lists.
• Ensure that all stock is updated and on time.
• Dispatch shipments to carriers/drop lot.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing experience, preferred
