Job summary

HCSC is offering a ten-week paid internship in Chicago, IL for Operations Performance Analyst Interns. You will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to project work, analyze information, and develop solutions addressing organizational needs while maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA and related policies.

You will learn and apply organizational processes, participate in formal internship orientation, and deliver a final presentation to department leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree; rising senior in IT, CS, information systems, or related field.
• Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA.
• Available for full duration of the 10-week program.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Own components of project work with guidance from an assigned mentor and manager.
• Conduct research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations that inform real business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes and the member and client experience.
• Develop and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership covering the project, results, and recommendations.
• Maintain complete confidentiality of company business and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies.
