Job summary

Flexjet is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to build reporting and insights that guide daily operations and strategic planning. You will analyze large datasets, create dashboards, and automate workflows using ML and statistical methods.

You will collaborate with executives and frontline staff, translating questions into repeatable tools and delivering actionable insights that improve performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics or other relevant degree.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in data analytics; or equivalent combination.
• Expertise in Excel, Python, PowerBI, enabling efficient data analysis and visualization to drive informed decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present findings clearly to both executives and front-line operational staff.
• Experience working with LLMs, leveraging their capabilities to enhance data analysis and generate actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive operational decisions.
• Create, maintain, and present reports/dashboards that communicate key performance indicators and operational metrics.
• Design, build, and implement processes/tools with fast-moving datasets using machine learning, and statistical analysis methods.
• Analyze operational datasets (flight activity, on-time performance, aircraft and crew utilization, ground and FBO data) to identify trends, patterns, and root causes that drive decisions.
• Translate recurring operational questions into repeatable tools and automated workflows that cut manual effort.
• Lead and support analytics projects end to end (vendor evaluations, capacity studies, performance analysis).
• Where appropriate, apply statistical methods and LLM-assisted analysis to forecast and to handle high-volume, fast-changing data.
