Job summary

City of Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Operations Analyst to research and evaluate operational processes, implement efficiency improvements, and oversee cross-functional projects across city departments. The role involves data analysis, reporting, and coordinating with vendors, with a focus on improving service delivery and productivity.

The candidate will contribute to budgeting, reporting, and strategic initiatives while working under limited supervision and traveling to field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years of education and/or professional experience in operational or business systems analysis, or related area (must include developing, monitoring and implementing business solutions).
• Knowledge of relational database applications and reporting tools.
• Ability to research, analyze data, and prepare written reports.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, monitors, and implements quality assurance processes and programs.
• Studies, analyzes, and improves functional activities and processes.
• Analyzes, tracks, and markets strategies to increase revenue and productivity.
• Researches and compiles data, conducts studies, and prepares reports.
• Collaborates with all units to achieve strategic goals.
• Oversees reporting for the Micromobility program and ensures vendor compliance.
