Position Title: Menu Operations Associate

Location: New York, United States (Fully Remote)

Duration: 03+ Months with the Potential to extend

Pay Rate: $44.66 - $47.85 per hour on W2

Schedule: 20–40 hours per week, flexible based on business needs

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Menu Operations Associate to support menu UI initiatives and item quality across a dynamic digital marketplace. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to improve menu data, implement scalable updates, and support strategic enhancements to customer and merchant experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and report on menu item quality metrics and current menu data
2. Enhance restaurant menu listings by adding metadata and tags
3. Execute bulk updates to menu items, including photos and descriptions
4. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align with best practices
5. Track performance metrics such as sales volume, GMV, and attachment rates
6. Conduct interviews with merchants and customers to gather user insights
7. Handle ad hoc menu update requests in line with business goals
8. Develop educational materials for new menu features (e.g., pitch decks)
9. Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and data-driven reporting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to execute multi-step processes accurately
• Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Sheets
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks across various workstreams
• Quick learner and adaptable in a tech-enabled environment

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Background in operations, data analysis, or product support is a plus
