Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking an Operations Analyst to measure, analyze, and report on critical cost performance and operation efficiency metrics. You will identify improvement areas and track the implementation of improvement initiatives, contributing to smarter decision-making at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Perform reconciliation & variance analysis of monthly operations expenses.
  • Generate weekly and monthly Operations metrics, including data gathering and entry; reports include Annual Operating Budget, Monthly Operating Forecast, Monthly Financial and efficiency metrics.
  • Assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness; translate results into meaningful solutions to enhance decision-making; present findings to various levels of leadership.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain metrics and key performance indicators, identifying resulting risks and opportunities.
  • Review data capture processes and procedures; recommend modifications to systems to ensure all relevant metrics data elements are collected as a part of defined standard operational procedures.
  • Audit and confirm the validity and accuracy of all data being reported data.
  • Provide cost/benefit analysis for various projects, as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $65,000 - $82,000 a year plus bonus potential. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor s Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills


Physical Demands


  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
