Monday - Thursday
This role sits on the Investment Operations team supporting Credit and Real Estate strategies, within a small team responsible for daily collateral management and credit derivatives support. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, takes initiative, and thrives both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a commitment to identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements, with opportunities to contribute to larger strategic initiatives beyond daily responsibilities.
Manage daily margin movements for cleared/bilateral derivatives, repos, and prime brokerage accounts. Maintain the firm's collateral management system to ensure compliance with control policies. Book cash movements to meet obligations and return excess exposure to funds. Set up and maintain all collateral agreement reference data. Reconcile cash collateral positions daily and investigate breaks. Oversee an offshore collateral team to ensure daily processing deliverables are met. Interface with counterparty, prime broker, custodian, and fund admin contacts to maintain account relationships. Test and implement cash and collateral system enhancements. Automate manual processes using AI and workflow applications (e.g., Alteryx). Analyze data and operational risk, building out controls to mitigate exposure. Review and validate regulatory reporting metrics (e.g., UMR) and onboard ISDA funds to Counterparty Manager. Support cleared/bilateral derivatives transaction processing.

Undergraduate degree with a strong GPA. 2 years minimum of relevant Investment Operations experience (collateral, from an operations perspective - not desk-side). Strong background in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, conditional logic, macros). SQL or VBA experience. Solid experience working with AI tools. Intermediate-level experience in at least one of: Power BI, Alteryx, or Python. Experience with Geneva (GL), collateral management systems, VBA, or SQL is a plus. Knowledge of collateral management preferred but not required. Project management experience preferred but not required. Strong communicator, highly organized, detail-oriented, motivated, adaptable, and proactive.
