Job summary

Vestmark is seeking students for its Spring Semester Co-op Program, a hybrid internship at the Wakefield, MA headquarters. Interns will join Vestmark’s VOS teams, gain mentorship, attend select Vestmark trainings, and participate in client-support activities while exploring a career in a dynamic, small company environment.

Requirements include current enrollment in an accredited college and at least two years of relevant coursework toward a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college.
• Minimum of 2 years of coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or Marketing.
• Strong analytical reasoning.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple overlapping projects.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of teams’ processes, sponsor relationships, and vendor systems.
• Perform account maintenance including: New accounts, Terminations, contributions/withdrawals, tax harvests.
• Review and validate performance returns by account and client.
• Support corporate actions processing including mandatory and voluntary events.
• Support security master activity including new security setup and pricing updates.
• Manage client expectations with clear communication.
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
• Work with team and sponsors to resolve exceptions.
• Participate in special projects for new products and platforms.

Vestmark is seeking talented students for consideration in our Spring Semester Co-op Program. We have designed a program that offers a full-time experience, where the intern is assimilated into our Business Process Outsourcing (VOS) teams to learn about and work under the guidance of an experienced manager. Each Vestmark Intern will be assigned a mentor and receive opportunities through scheduled events dedicated to the Interns. You will have the chance to attend select Vestmark training sessions, participate in Vestmark social events, and gain invaluable professional experience through client support-based work. It isa great experience to explore a career in a small company and a dynamic work environment that attracts and retains smart, creative, and dedicated people.

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college.

Responsibilities may include

• Gain a high understanding of the various teams’ processes, sponsor relationships, and vendor systems used to support Client managed accounts.
• Perform account maintenance functions including: New account setup, Terminations, contributions/withdrawals, tax harvests

Required Experience and Skills:

• Ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of course work completed towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Finance and/or Marketing. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college.

This is hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the office, whereas the office is located at Vestmark’s headquarters in Wakefield, MA. Fully remote will not be considered.

Hourly compensation ranges from $18-$20, with specific rate determined by academic year level.
