A leading payment solutions company seeks a Financial Reconciliation Specialist to support its clients' financial reporting needs. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Extract and compile financial data to produce daily/weekly reconciliation reports for assigned clients
- Assist in root cause analysis to mitigate identified reconciliation process or transactional data issues
- Draft communications to clients regarding the status of identified issues
- Finalize internal forms and paperwork for issues to the helpdesk and track resolution status
- Maintain a history of financial reporting for senior management review
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in financial reconciliation, preferably within the financial industry
- Basic knowledge and experience of financial reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, including knowledge of macros and pivot tables
- Understanding of financial audit rules and bookkeeping processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, IT, or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in financial reconciliation
- Knowledge of international financial reconciliation standards, such as LCCI Higher Accounting
