Job summary

Schupan in Kalamazoo, MI is looking for an Extrusion Saw Operator for the 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. You will cut, sort, and distribute material to support on-time order fulfillment as part of a safety-focused team.

The role requires 3–6 months of related experience, forklift experience preferred (certification is possible), and basic computer skills. We offer overtime, bonuses, PTO, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• Forklift experience preferred, or ability to become certified in forklift operation.
• Familiarity with computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion saw equipment to cut material according to production schedules and work orders.
• Read customer orders, shipping documents, and requisitions to determine what needs to be moved or distributed.
• Assemble and stage customer orders; place on pallets, shelves, or route to packing station.
• Mark materials with accurate identifying information and retrieve items from receiving or production areas.
• Sort and store materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Safely load and unload in restricted spaces.
• Apply basic math skills to ensure accurate cuts.
• Use feeler gauges to square blocks.
