Job summary

GAF is seeking an Operations Administrative Coordinator to support the Statesboro team. This role administers routine administrative duties, organizes community engagements, and ensures confidentiality and professionalism with minimal supervision.

The position requires strong organizational skills, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with Plant Management, HR, and other departments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of related administrative or business experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite tools required.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and PO requisitions preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate seamless workflow and open communication at every phase.
  • Promote a safety-first mindset in daily activities.
  • Oversee onboarding for new hires, including training resources.
  • Coordinate with Plant Management, HR, Technical Services, Manufacturing, and other departments.
  • Handle data entry, create Google presentations, spreadsheets, and internal communications.
  • Organize meetings, manage schedules, and support various administrative tasks.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Operations Administrative Coordinator who will function as a key member of the Statesboro team. Responsible for assisting local leadership in routine administrative and operational duties, along with organizing and facilitating community engagement initiatives and events. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, a high level of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Essential Duties
  • include, but are not limited to:
  • Facilitating a seamless workflow and fostering open communication at every phase.
  • Fostering a mindset that prioritizes safety throughout daily activities.
  • Overseeing the organization and administration of employee safety training initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulations, and coordinating recognition programs for safety achievements, in addition to other safety-focused endeavors.
  • Administering, organizing, and guiding the onboarding process for new hires, which includes but is not limited to, the creation and distribution of training resources.
  • Partnering with all internal departments such as Plant Management, Human Resources, Technical Services, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and all Centers of Excellence.
  • Responsible for data entry, creation of google presentations, spreadsheets, pamphlets and internal communication materials.
  • Facilitating administrative support tasks, which encompass, but are not limited to, organizing meetings, managing schedules, entering production, composing various forms of correspondence and reports, solving discrepancies, handling postal duties, booking venues and coordinating catering services, maintaining file systems, overseeing attendance records, and procuring necessary office materials.
  • Gathering and structuring data for diverse reporting needs, as well as generating and compiling these reports.
  • Administering the security infrastructure, which encompasses diagnosing system issues, issuing access credentials to employees, and executing temporary suspensions.
  • Engaging with external partners and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of events, while overseeing the logistical arrangements, budget management, and comprehensive coordination efforts.
  • Fostering and nurturing partnerships with community entities and key stakeholders.
  • Managing and implementing community engagement initiatives and operations within allocated financial resources.
  • Point of contact during community events and meetings, including coordinating sales walkthroughs of the premises.
  • (for union represented sites only) Understand and ensure compliance of terms within collective bargaining agreement(s)
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • 5+ years related administrative or business experience.
Qualifications Preferred
  • Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational/problem solving skills.
  • Experience with Google Suite tools.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Purchase Order requisitions ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to embrace change and champion change effectively.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Salary Range: $48,006-$66,009
