Job summary

Empower AI, headquartered in Reston, VA, seeks an Operational Technology Engineer to design, install, and sustain Army facility control systems and related OT networks across CONUS and OCONUS locations. The role requires deep hands-on experience with FRCS, ICS, SCADA, BAS, DDC, UMCS, and metering, plus ability to travel and obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Current/active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Electrical, Systems, Industrial Engineering, OT, Cybersecurity).
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Minimum five years in OT/ICS/SCADA/BAS/FRCS/UMCS environments.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting OT devices and networks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, install, and test OT solutions for Army facilities and utility infrastructure.
• Develop engineering artifacts: SDPs, EIPs, wiring diagrams, and migration plans.
• Coordinate with government personnel, vendors, and installation teams.
• Support cyber security activities including RMF/STIG compliance.
