Job summary

Target is seeking a Business Information Security Officer (OT) to design, implement, and scale security across our operational technology. You will mentor engineers, partner with across enterprise teams, and drive secure-by-default security programs in a hybrid work model.

The role demands strong executive communication, OT security expertise, and experience aligning security with business needs to reduce risk across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or related field; or related experience 7+ years in information security.
• 2+ years of OT or IoT security engineering experience.
• 2+ years in network architecture/design/segmentation.
• Experience with security requirements, findings, risk management across many products and teams.
• Experience with OT security standards (ISA/IEC 62443 or NIST SP 800-82 Rev 3).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale security solutions for Target’s OT landscape across supply chain, stores, and corporate offices.
• Mentor and uplift team members in security concepts and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to enforce secure-by-default configurations.
